What are suggestions for OT treatment for persons with renal disease?

One of the things you might consider is pulling the references that I have given in this talk. I think it is easy to do if you work in a setting that is open to new ideas. If you make this change, what difference does it make to the clients and to the facility? You need to gather the resources and evidence to lend support to this idea, and ask the team to consider it. From there, the quality assurance team would follow up and develop a tracking mechanism over time because the third party payers in your community are going be interested to see if you have success.
Usually the nurses and/or the technologists, that have been trained in placing IVs and dealing with shunts, would be the ones to provide that education to the staff. In terms of providing it to the patient, I think the best approach is that everybody is on the same page and says the same thing to the client so that they do not get mixed messages.
