Common eating disorders that occur among adolescents, their functional impacts, and ways occupational therapy practitioners can support young people and their families experiencing eating disorders will be explored in this course. This course is part of the Continued Learning Podcast series.

An in-depth explanation of what osteogenesis imperfect is, how to safely implement occupational intervention, and the perspective of what it is like to live with OI will be discussed in this course. The course will cover federal laws, important considerations, and helpful tips to help you prepare your client for the trip of their dreams. While there will be helpful information for people with all disabilities, this course will primarily focus on clients who use wheelchairs.

Being able to sew can add to your toolbox of interventions for treating the upper extremity. This course will go through a variety of examples of interventions that can be provided for upper extremity conditions.

Therapists are often key members of the wheelchair seating evaluation team. Seating assessment includes evaluation of current posture and equipment, a mat examination, and equipment recommendations. This course will review the assessment process.
