Course Presenters
Elaine Mormer, M.A.
Elaine Mormer is an instructor and Clinical Coordinator in the University of Pittsburgh AuD program. She has taught online and classroom based courses and supervised students in clinical practicum for many years. Elaine has coordinated activities and given presentations on the art and science of teaching at each of the University of Pittsburgh biennial Audiology Teaching conferences over the past six years.
Catherine Palmer, Ph.D.
Catherine Palmer is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Science and Disorders in the School or Health and Rehabilitation and has a joint appointment to the School of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology. She is the director of Audiology and Hearing Aids at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she supervises students in clinical practicum. She has served as the conference chair for the biennial University of Pittsburgh Audiology Teaching conference for the last six years.
Lindsey Jorgensen, AuD
Lindsey Keogh Jorgensen currently is a student in the PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh Communication Science and Disorders with a focus on hearing loss, hearing aids and dementia. She is a VA PhD Fellow, provides clinical care at the Pittsburgh VA and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and provides clinical instruction to University of Pittsburgh AuD students including externship students. Lindsey has guest lectured in a variety of undergraduate and AuD classes on a variety of topics.
