While each assignment and client is different, our Occupational Therapists should be prepared for the following expectations when considering a contract assignment with Sunbelt: Ability to perform assessments Ability to devise pre-referral strategies Ability to design and implement treatment programs Complete and accurate treatment notes, progress reports, all other required documentation Knowledge and use of Response to Intervention (RTI) model Ability to work under individual, group, classroom-based intervention model Preparation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (for school-related assignments) Participation on Student Study Teams (for school-related assignments) Experience with Educationally Relevant Interventions Willingness to provide supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or other staff Knowledge and ability to become Medicaid providers Professional development goals

New graduates and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are always encouraged to apply.
