The approach differs from that of traditional cognitive rehab by implementing performance based evaluation and intervention techniques.

Rob Koch has been an occupational therapist for 39 years with experience in developmental disabilities for 11 years, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for 22 years and skilled nursing for 7 years. He has worked with people at varying levels of cognitive deficits in all settings and the past 11 years has been conducting seminars to train therapists in functional cognitive rehab. He has also developed a website - “Functional Therapy Activities” to provide tools for therapists to use in both cognitive and physical rehabilitation.
