I think it depends on the goal and how it is that you are phrasing it. If you said with 80% accuracy or it is a caregiver goal where you are training them and you want them to have 95% return demonstration, you can clearly show in your documentation a number of trials and how they are performing. I think where it gets a little tricky with percentages is if you are trying to break down min, mod, or max assist to a percentage. Realistically, what is the difference between 25% physical assist and 30%? I think if you are focusing it on trials or the number of times that you are giving verbal cues, I do not think it is a horrible thing. I have not seen that Medicare has specifically denied based on percentages.
