Registration Fee:  This course is included in your $99 annual Professional Subscription.

CEUs/PDUs Offered: AOTA/0.2 Intermediate, Category 2: Occupational Therapy Process - Intervention; NBCOT/2.5 Intermediate

Course Abstract

This short course will begin with a discussion on brain reorganization after TBI and will proceed to present an integrative theoretical model of cognition and rehabilitation. The model incorporates contemporary principles from cognitive neuroscience, neurobiology, and rehabilitation. The course will focus on the discussion of a systematic hierarchical model to cognitive rehabilitation. The presentation will conclude with research data that supports the use of systematic categorization training in patients with moderate to severe TBI.
