Course Abstract

The 21st century learner has evolved with the exponential growth of technology bringing a unique set of skills, expectations and tools to the classroom and/or clinical setting. This course will review the comparative characteristics of digital age learners, exemplary instructional resources, and methods for integrating technology into the curriculum and clinical objectives.

Course Learning Outcomes Preview Exam

  • Upon completing this course learners will be able to list 3 characteristics of digital age learners which differentiate them from Baby Boomer and Generation X learners.
  • Upon completing this course learners will be able to define 3 current, digital technologies which serve as exemplary resources for therapists and educators.
  • Upon completing this course learners will be able to select a simple lesson plan which effectively integrates technology to meet the needs of the learner.
