Presenter: Jana Cason DHSc, OTR/L, FAOTA

Jana Cason, DHSc, OTR/L, FAOTA is a full professor at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.  She is an internationally recognized telehealth expert and is past chair of the American Telemedicine Association’s Telerehabilitation Special Interest Group and the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Technology Special Interest Section.  Dr. Cason co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, monographs, and interdisciplinary and discipline-specific telehealth standards and guidelines.  She currently serves as Senior Associate Editor of the International Journal of Telerehabilitation, a peer-reviewed, PubMed and Scopus indexed journal.  She is CEO and Director of Professional Development for TelehealthShare LLC, a company she cofounded to empower practitioners with tools and knowledge to confidently implement meaningful, engaging, and effective telehealth sessions.

Presenter: Heather J. Cianci PT, MS, GCS

Ms. Cianci is the Outpatient Neurologic Team Leader for Good Shepherd Penn Partners and founding therapist of the Dan Aaron Parkinson's Rehab Center at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She received her BS in Physical Therapy (1994) from the University of Scranton, and her MS in Gerontology (2004) from Saint Joseph's University, both in Pennsylvania.  Heather received her Geriatric Clinical Specialist Certification in 1999 and was certified in LSVT BIG in 2007.  She is also certified in PWR!, Rock Steady Boxing, and Music and Memory. Heather is Co-coordinator and PT Faculty for the Parkinson’s Foundation’s (PF) Team Training Program, the author of their educational manual Fitness Counts, and a contributing lecturer to their online Physical Therapy course. She has written and lectured for several local and national PD organizations, on-line CEU providers, and PT programs at Philadelphia area universities. Heather has published research on falls, freezing of gait, and bed mobility in PD, and is a former board member for CurePSP.

Presenter: Holly Hester PT, DPT, CHC

Holly Hester serves as Casamba’s Compliance Officer and leads the Operational Compliance and Education Department across the enterprise. In this role, she provides regulatory guidance and interpretation, clinical programming and content development, education and training steerage, and compliance support for the Company. As a physical therapist for over 20 years, Holly has multi-venue clinical and management experience, giving her a unique perspective on the integration of compliance and training with therapy service delivery and clinical practice. Holly has presented regionally and nationally at the Michigan Physical Therapy Association Spring Conferences, APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting, and the AOTA National Conference, and has taught live continuing education courses on a wide variety of clinical and regulatory topics for all three therapy disciplines since 2007.
