Moses discussed philosophy in regard to OT to assist with OT development as our occupation evolves and increases reach. This was an illuminating read. Moses' definition of OT was different to other definitions provided. I will keep this article for future reference and I am in the process of locating Moses' other OT work

While I was initially concerned that there was background information that, while interesting regarding African history, was not integral to therapy. However it was a powerful set up for what was to follow which was a call to action to re-establish occupational therapy to it's roots

I love the 20 Q format ! It's so interesting and inspiring to learn about people's lives. (I'm not 'academically inclined'.... I received my AA degree when I was 45 years old. However, I am inspired by those who have done the "heavy lifting" to establish Occupational Therapy in the world, and also to give us concrete examples of how to work with our clients. Thank you.

Good. Interesting. The Instructor has an internationally broad scope of the OT profession and it potential impact on human occupation. He highlights the value of the OT profession and gives reasons for further study. OT profession and human occupation is dynamic, adaptable, etc., is not to be squandered, instead, there is continued value of OT as the profession continues to be dynamic, adaptable, etc.

I learned so much from this presentation! The psychosocial domain is so crucial to incorporate into any OT practice setting, and this document gave me a solid base and stepping stone for continued professional growth in this area. This confirmed the importance of the Model of Human Occupational and other frameworks in further defining who we are as OT's. Meaningful occupation in roles and activities is the impetus of all we do as OT's. Thank you for your research and commitment to humanism, the essence of who we are as OT's.

I was deeply impressed by the author's ability to integrate foundational knowledge into a specific approach to patients/clients. I think these insights are applicable to all areas of OT, not just psychosocial rehab. I share his concern that if we disregard that foundational knowledge, we will lose our profession (I see you, hand therapists). Also I am in awe of the idea of "space-occupation continuum" vs space-time continuum.
