Beyond the Basics will take one step further from our basic’s course and give you resources to put aquatic therapy into practice today. We will get into the details of how you can greatly impact your patients with the use of aquatic therapy in your treatment plans. We will gather new tools for the old tool box and learn how to use the water with your appropriate patients. We will discuss the importance of how you document aquatic therapy so that the insurance companies continue to reimburse for these services.

Her experience in therapy management began as the Director of Rehabilitation for a vast campus which included a Skilled Nursing Facility, a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital and an Outpatient Therapy Center. Kathleen has also served as the Director of Operations for a chain of 56 skilled nursing facilities. She is certified in Healthcare Compliance and has also earned the RAC-CT, which designates her as an expert in skilled nursing facility prospective payment system and the minimum data set assessment. She is currently working as the Executive Vice President for JMD Healthcare Solutions. |
