As a clinician for over twenty years, I felt validated that many of the items that the instructor used are very similar to what I have put together through trial and error. This course would have been so beneficial and saved lots of steps if I would have taken it earlier in my career. I highly recommend this course, especially to newer clinicians.

hat are our primary goals or the bottom line that we want to see with using a screening tool like the eOTe? We are looking at the occupational performance of the child and any adaptations that are needed. What can we do to help them with the challenges that they are having? Obviously, we always want to help with the health and wellness of the child. It also looks at participation and occupational justice issues. What can we do to make the classroom for everyone? For the quality of life, it looks at role competence as a student. It also looks at the student advocating for themselves. Students oft

At the end, I was still a bit unclear as to how this screening fits into daily life as a school-based OT. Granted, I am a new grad, but in my current school situation I don't see a place to use this, as the district has prescribed measures for how children are screened and evaluated.
