This course introduces essential tremor and the impact of the symptom presentation on function and participation. Emphasis is on the use evidence-based practice to develop a person-centered, occupation-based approach to treatment of individuals with essential tremor.
- After this course, participants will be able to describe the impact of symptoms on the daily function and participation of people with essential tremor.
- After this course, participants will be able to identify and list appropriate screening and outcome measures to create a person-centered approach to the evaluation and treatment of people with essential tremor.
- After this course, participants will be able to describe occupation-based, task-oriented treatment strategies to address the participation challenges for people living with essential tremor.
