Rachel Pigott has been an occupational therapist since 1999. She received her bachelors in occupational therapy from Towson State University and more recently in 2016 completed her Masters in Public Health at The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Rachel is both a certified hand therapist and a certified lymphedema therapist. She received her certification in hand therapy from The Hand Therapy Certification Commission in 2004 and her certification in lymphedema from The Lymphedema Association of North America in 2013. Rachel has lectured regionally and nationally on a variety of hand rehabilitation topics including fractures, wrist injuries, sprains, tendinopathies, arthritis, and orthotic fabrication. She is also serves on a volunteer basis with the American Society of Hand Therapists and holds the position of Secretary Treasurer Elect for 2017.
