Eun-Jin Bibianna Lee
MS, OTR/L, CHT
Bibianna has been an Occupational Therapist (OT) for 20 years and a Certified Hand Therapist for 12 years. She is the founder of Therapeutic Tai Chi LLC. After graduating from OT school, she became a yoga instructor and incorporated yoga therapy into her treatment sessions. The same year she passed the CHT exam, she met Dr. Yang PhD and began her study in Tai Chi in 2011. At the 2019 AOTA conference, she presented “Wheelchair Tai Chi as a holistic modality for OTs” with Dr. Guo, PhD, who is the founder of the wheelchair Tai Chi for the 2008 Beijing Para Olympics. The course was well attended by a large audience, and she realized there is a growing interest in holistic modalities in the field of OT.
Throughout her 20 years career, she has consistently tried to integrate Eastern holistic medicine with Western medicine because she is a firm believer in holistic medicine, which was how she was raised and how she has cared for her own health. She has been successful in bridging these two worlds together in an in-patient rehabilitation setting as well as in an out-patient hand therapy setting.
