Probably more because of my lack of background in this area and the fact that I work in an acute care, not out patient setting, but I felt like a lot of it was over my head and more academic than hands-on. Presenter was definitely knowledgeable and well researched in this area.

Although I was certified in The Graston technique several years ago, the education and information which was presented in this course was way above what I received when I was certified. The instructor is very well educated on Myofascial Interventions and presented the material in an effective manner.

Explanation of core concepts and inclusion of visuals and summaries helped me to better understand and appreciate IASTM as well as apply its principles to clinical practice. This course has certainly filled in gaps in my knowledge, as this content had not been part of the curriculum in my OT program and was not explained in great detail during in-person skills courses for continuing education. I look forward to taking the other courses in the myofascial series!

Dr. Tom Sevier (ASTYM) Ball state university researcher and Tom Graston engineer no medical background hired by Dr. Sevier. Graston left early before research made his own tools which were too aggressive making people worse greatly slowing the growth of this great treatment. Graston then sold off bad outcomes to the chiropractic association (Graston) and fabricated SASTYM again inaccurately claiming ASTYM research for his outcomes! Graston leader really! Research your history of this treatment.
