Impressed with this presenter's knowledge and dedication to many years of educating herself and acting upon the immense importance and necessity to utilize sound and functional repositioning strategies that have provided many SNF patients with restored functional movement, decreased deformities, increased comfort, sleep etc. and an overall increased quality of life for them and their families. ... "Thanks for sharing!"

I honestly thought this was going to be boring. What more could we know about positioning in bed? I was wrong. I assumed it would all be about maintaining or preventing further deterioration but this course emphasizes the importance of SKILLED positioning to make legitimate improvements and even prevent surgery! The presenter is very knowledgeable. I could listen to her talk for hours. Highly recommend this course to all OTs not just SNF workers.

I work in a SNF and I wish every CNA in our facility could watch this seminar. I grow tired of seeing poor postural alignment in wheelchairs with no footrests providing support underneath feet. I realize how hard a job being a CNA is but sometimes taking a few extra minutes to position a Resident correctly in a wheelchair can make a difference in their ROM and improving their skill set ie. Feeding themselves, brushing their teeth, combing their own hair.

It was interesting course but positioning patients in a SNF every 2 hours does not happen in the geographical area where I work. Patients are lucky to be positioned in bed if they get a brief change or a bed bath. SNF staffing is a joke anymore.
