Education on various diagnoses and how they progress and effect a clients overall health and independence. Provides interventions and adaptive tools that can be used for clients with specific weaknesses. Patients with these type of disorders require intervention often due to their constant change in status due to the progression. Knowing organizations and groups that you can talk/connect with can be helpful for certain diagnoses. It is helpful to have learned different ways to help with certain diagnoses.

I loved the adaptation for modifying oral care and UB dressing for someone with UE fatigue or limited ROM in the UE. The instructor was a little soft spoken; however, when using earbuds, it helped tremendously. She was very knowledgeable and explained the dx and possible OT interventions to improve a pts quaily of life.
