Question

Is it ever appropriate to include bad behavior in video self-modeling?

Answer

I get asked this question in every workshop that I perform.  There are 30 years of research on this topic that indicates it is not appropriate to include bad behavior.  Video self-modeling is a treatment modality where you are only showing the client the positive behavior so that they can "model" this in the future.
