Both Jill and Michelle presented the material methodically, with high awareness & compassion, integrating the tech knowledge with clinical judgement for identifying factors salient to differences in individual children's needs. The case presentation really brought application and knowledge into practice. I do not have students with these needs. After this course, I will feel more confident to enter into relationships with students requiring this knowledge. Principles apply beyond ATT!

The information presented was very content dense. It could have been made easier for practitioners who do not have much experience with families and children who are complex or are mutildimensional in care. I do like that ATNR including other topics such as EI and IFSP were enveloped into this the discussion. I do respect the presenters. they are knowledgeable and clearly leaders. Thank you for teaching this course.

I have been wanting to gain more expertise in w/c positioning for enhancing AAC with the complex cases I would get. I have a lot of experience in body positioning with NDT background, Sensory Processing and more. This course is a perfect launching pad and resource for me to gain more interdisciplinary experience in this area. I wish I could observe the presenters in action just for the learning opportunities and to help me be exposed to the tools and seating equipment etc. available.

I really appreciated how it was stressed that it was important to introduce or have the child evaluated for AT within the first year rather than wait until they achieve motor milestones. I'm happy to hear that there is new thoughts of introducing a child to these opportunities. I was excited to hear of the assessment tools (communication matrix) to develop a clearer picture of the child's ability. I want to learn more about this tool.
