When I practiced in North Carolina, we did group medical visits every three months. We had 12-15 people per group. The visit would usually last two hours. In the first 45 minutes, we would have a group session where we would do a skills activity and disseminate educational material. We would also have a group discussion around that session's topic. The clients would then be taken back individually for their medical visit with their physician. It was a nice dynamic between the areas of information delivery, skills lab, group discussion and individual medical treatment. This is a nice way to manage many people if you have limited space or resources. If you want to find out more information, I would look into the group medical visits literature.
