The presenter seemed very knowledgeable on the topic and she had a good speaking cadence. Overall, I would say the course felt very geared towards ADHD and all the things it struggles with when there are some things that really excel in ADHD. I thought a slide about outcomes if strategies are effective would have been nice to see so that we know as clinicians if we are on the right track.

It was straight forward and some dialogue occurred outside of the slide show. As a practitioner with someone who has been diagnosed with ADHD, it's a good seminar to watch for tips, especially when being timely.

I actually chose this exam because my wife believes, as do I, that I have time blindness and wanted to better excel at my job and timeliness. This was helpful for me as an individual and as a clinician.

The interventions described seemed outdated to me and not to reflect how people live their lives now. I also thought too much time was spent explaining what ADHD is and not enough time on interventions.

It was helpful to review aspects of time blindness and some strategies to support it. But I wish there was time to focus on complications -- how to support establishing the initial habits of setting the timers and use of planners -- how to support those who tend to ignore the timer when it goes off and gets "lost again" in a sea of ambiguous time again -- how to support managing the anxiety that comes when the "timer goes off but the job is still not complete" -- etc...

Speakers voice volume was so variable I had a hard time hearing what she said. She also was very distracting in that she cleared her throat so loudly and abruptly (looud because volume had to be turned up so high!). I also would caution against using the backdrop of crowded bookshelves for future presentations. Especially one about ADHD! I enjoyed the content, but had difficulty staying engaged despite her obvious expertise in this topic!
