I will be starting a new job soon at a clinic that uses DIR/Floortime as their main treatment model so this was a great course to help me gain competence in this area! I feel much more confident in this area now and learned a lot about Functional Emotional Developmental capacities that I didn't know before!

This course would have been more instructive if it had included videos of therapists using Floortime with children. Other instructors have done so with great success. It was difficult to understand just how I would apply Floortime to my caseload. The theory was explained, but the actual application was not addressed as well. 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours would have been a more appropriate time to be able to grasp the concepts of this approach.
