This course will focus on providing education on the topic of joint hypermobility in the pediatric population. It will cover how patients may present, diagnostic criteria focused on the Beighton scale, potential comorbidities, and techniques for practitioners to implement into their treatment strategies to best support these patients. We will briefly discuss the differences in the diagnostic criteria between pediatrics and adults which will provide information to the practitioners on how to support these patients throughout the lifespan.
