Dr. Rives presented the information clearly and in an organized manner. Her case studies were very useful and highly relevant to understanding the principles she was attempting to convey. Her call for the need for increased evidence was important and clear and her definitions of terms was immediately useful. I appreciate the update of the information on taping (since I took a taping course more than 10 years ago initially and she is correct that many of the terms and techniques have changed.)

I appreciated the background and additional information provided like billing and properties of the tape. I was grateful for the video examples in this course but some close up images/videos might help with understanding placement. I also would have liked to see a diagram of the muscle being targeted in relation to the tape placement!

Taping had previously intimidated me because of the different areas of the body in which it can be used and the different cuts that were needed. This course is an excellent beginners overview of basic cuts and what to use them for. I really enjoyed watching the demo videos and the explanations provided.

It would have been helpful to add anatomy pictures before the 3 demos. On the last demo with the scoliosis, it would have been helpful to have spoken with directions through the application, as you did in the second demo. Also, to have shown the removal process of the tape.
