We spent a lot of time in the foundational information of the nervous system that I think OTs already know. I would’ve liked to get more into the detailed info of chronic pain and what assessment and treatment looks like for chronic pain. Would also like to hear more about the presenters business working with clients in this area virtually as an OT.

As an outpatient pediatric occupational therapist, I have many clients who work on self-regulation, interoceptive awareness, and general sensory processing skills. We use techniques like this very often, and it was amazing to learn more of the physiological aspects of the strategies that we teach to kiddos. There were a few in there that I had not used before as well!
