The speaker presented the subject well, giving great ideas that can be expanded on. I also liked the way she took the assessments and added activities to enhance weak areas the child demonstrates. In this way within a school setting, IEP goals could be written to address these needs within a graduated fashion. Overall, the presentation was great.

I am a very visual person and there were very few visuals to illustrate what she was saying. The video of her speaking and making hand motions while speaking was not running with the OT version of this course (but my PT-counterparts reported that they could see it).

This course really needs more dynamic visuals or demonstrations. There were whole sections on just one slide and a lot of talking. This was not conducive to diverse learning style. It was hard to follow at times. However, I absolutely loved that the videos included Moose, the dog. It made for a much more entertaining and engaging.

Andrea has a very clear and concise style of presenting information. Her videos were very helpful to demonstrate her treatment ideas. She seems very invested in knowing what her audience thinks about her presentation. As an OT, I appreciated all of the treatment suggestions because I incorporate a great deal of movement activities into my sessions with preschoolers.

The OT instructor was an excellent teacher who provided a variety of learning modules (videos, charts, mock case study, review of concepts, etc. She repeatedly reaffirmed how each OT is unique and brings a different perspective in the eval and treatment process. I love the way she thinks! I want to be able to incorporate a 'Chop Challenge' method (folding in art and creativity into treatment progression) while also integrating Fell's 12 methods of progression.
