Clear and easy to understand the concept. I think this specific method is contrary to what OTPs seek in therapeutic practice and that caution should be taken by the viewer/learner to remember that they work with REAL PEOPLE in need of therapeutic support, not dogs trying to learn new tricks.

Very minimal detail to utilize this wat of teaching. i would have liked to know some specific examples of goals and what single observable behaviors to work on. It was very vague and could have implemented a lot more instruction, details, and information about the topic. I am interested in learning more but one of the resources links did not work.

I liked the components of TAGteach, few and short instructions, and especially focus of success and ignore errors. These are things that I can use in my school-based practice. I do not like the clicker and using food as reinforcement. It reminds me of training a dog and ABA, and I don't like either of them. I don't think that the skills that are taught in this method will carry over to the classroom.

ABA is a fine line between what is neurodiversity-affirming and not. I do not agree that food should be used as a motivator and that the same device (a clicker) I used to train my dog should have a place in human instruction. I understand people's views are different and this is proven to have worked with some clients.

I am going to research this further and look forward to potentially taking a class (or classes) that are offered from TAGteach.

It would have been more effective to have a video of the course versus text based. The course description did not fully reflect what the course was about. I could see it being a possible method with some populations but I could also see the clicker being an irritate to some students. Since they state you can not implement this approach without certification/training this should have been included in the course description.
