The presenter was very easy to follow and understand, she was very relaxed and explained things very thoroughly. I have not heard of video modeling (not currently working as an OT), and I found this method very interesting and practical and could see how task acquisition would be much more successful using video modeling.

I liked that there was a case study and examples. However, presenter did not use identity first language (which is preferred by Autistic people) and the presentation was presented in a deficits based manner when it easily could've been modified to a strengths based manner (Autistic people are highly interested in technology, excel at recognizing patterns, engaging in routines, hyper focusing or attention to detail). Overall, it was a good course but could use tweaks.

The presenter was clear and the information was given over very well. The information was relevant, and useful, and presented a clear way to implement it into the sessions. I feel that I can use the information given into my sessions. I felt that it was something I always wanted to use in my sessions in the early intervention setting, but wasn’t sure I can. Now I feel I can use the information outlined and try to incorporate it into my next session with the children and teach the parents also.
