Madeline Johnson, OTD/S, BS Psychology

Madeline Johnson is a third-year occupational therapy student at Presbyterian College. She earned a certificate for Pulmonary Disease Educator from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), for her doctoral capstone, focusing on promoting occupational therapists’ knowledge and involvement in cystic fibrosis care.

Allie Turner, OTD, OTR/L, CKTP, CEIM

Dr. Turner currently serves as an Assistant Professor and as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Presbyterian College Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program. Dr. Turner has 14 years of clinical practice, maintaining continued current acute care OT practice, alongside teaching at the graduate level. 

Dr. Turner incorporates her ongoing experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and teach courses that emphasize current practice guidelines, and evidence-based research. She mentors students to develop understanding of current health problems and address with their research objectives.  Through strong interpersonal and applied organizational skills, Dr. Turner builds and maintains effective relationships within both the education setting and the healthcare community.
