Lots of great strategies and ways to think about things differently. Such great info presented in the middle and at the end but it was a little rushed so perhaps reduce the amount of intro talk and focus more on the meat of the subject matter. That content was so valuable!

I found it frustrating that it was recorded and that she kept referring to the chat box and never read the comments only reacted to them. Felt like I missed so much because it wasnt live. Also personally it's much harder to focus on just a voice, seeing the speaker while he/she speaks is hard to listen to.

I, as an interpersonal, humanistic, behaviorist found the course supportive and at the same time like a new language. For example, a trigger can be anxiety, fear, confusion, and a major challenge to who is in control of the session - many children with disabilities suffer from learned helplessness as a form of escape from any task. So, there are trigger that are external, and triggers that are organic ( stem from inside the body, e.g. hunger). I have some more research to do on this subject.

As an OT who has worked in the field for over 38 years this was not new information for me. However, I thought it was well organized and presented in 2 hours by Tara. Definitely an informative class for therapists to better understand how to best work with kids and behavior, and in instructing others (teachers/parents) on how to work with these kids. I agreed with all of the information.
