Not only explaining strategies but also appropriate measurement in goal writing for reimbursement which ultimately gets us pain and allows us to be able to utilize the program. There is many CE units with fantastic ideas but if the goal writing is not correct then the reimbursement fails to be covered and then the facilities shut the programs down. Well done

I love this presenter and this subject. I work in acute care setting and people really do think this is normal to aging. Also, on a personal level, it helps me to self-assess what I can do to avoid occasional leaks and too many trips to the bathroom. Thank you so much for presenting this information on this platform.

I appreciated the instructor’s comfort level with all aspects of the subject matter and her suggestions on ways to approach the topic with patients. This can be an uncomfortable topic for many. Having strategies to address incontinence, in ways that are comfortable and not embarrassing, is so important. Continence is key to quality of life and optimum functioning in daily life. Incontinence can hold people back from so much. This course was excellent.

Practical examples of how to teach different types of incontinence as well as practical strategies ie urge incontinence (teaching timed voiding, teaching urge suppression , teaching bladder irritants vs addressing nocturia ie stopping fluids 2-3 hours before bed time, stopping irritants late in day/after lunch and elevating feet 20-30 min before bedtime, then use bathroom right before getting into bed. The resources/website for teaching roll for control program (clients with cognitive deficits) was excellent and also the goal writing examples, showing baseline and FUNCTIONAL OUTCOME. That was awesome!!
