I really enjoyed and appreciated the presenter showing evidence how mindfulness impacts the actual structure of the brain. It is very fascinating to learn about how our thinking changes the brain, and how we can utilize this in practice and within ourselves to reduce stress and become more self aware. I have a son who is easily distracted, lacks emotional regulation, and self awareness at times, so I will be trying this at home with him as well as myself for stress management.

This is such an important and emerging area that we need to focus on with our children. I'm an OT and am currently working as a pediatric sleep consultant. These techniques are so powerful for school age children in regards to settling the mind to prepare for sleep. I look forward to learning more about specific techniques in this area.

Brilliant and highly sensitive presentation. A long time meditator and studies in eastern practices, awareness and mindfulness, are the core. I appreciated the large amount of information and the presenter's knowledge, however, I feel the course needed many more visuals, demonstrations, links to all of the mindfulness activities she was mentioning, videos, etc. This was a lot of information but very little explanation or demonstration on what it all is, how to use it, where to find it, how to apply it.
