Some fantastic information, especially rephrasing fatigue to energy management. I did have a hard tome finding some of the links that are in Dutch..was able to get to the website and see where it translated to English, but I could not locate the specific link she referenced! Enjoyed the way she discuases the impact of fatigue on exexutive function. PS we do have terrible traffic jams in the US! :)

Jantina did an amazing job with her presentation on energy management. She is very knowledgeable and provided the audience with valuable information to help all clients; not just those with cancer. I really enjoyed learning from her and look forward to incorporating her tools into practice. Thank you Jantina for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the OT community!

Have been engaged in follow-up post-ca tx in the worksetting as an OT, so many of the facts/findings were spot-on. I learned a bit better on using measurements vs just simple notes to track progress. BYW, the individual is doing very well. OT did provide major level emotional support along the year for the 1-year EE was involved tx....thanks so much; very nice presentation.

As a COTA and a freshly recovering breast cancer survivor, this course has significantly helped me understand the reasoning for my post cancer TX fatigue. The huge take away from this course is that as the opportunity arises, I will be able to apply what I have learned in this course combined with the actual life experience to at least, in some small way, help other breast cancer survivors recover from the affects of post cancer fatigue.

I do not treat many patients that are being or recently being treated for cancer in my work setting. Energy management and sleep patterns are very important with intervention when addressing fatigue. I have a better understanding of the side effects of cancer treatments have on the brain and how it directly impacts cognitive function. OT can utilize interventions for the 'Chemo Brain" to improve function.
