Participants will learn why addressing pelvic health is part of overall maternal health and how it can affect all areas of a woman’s life after having a baby. Jessica McHugh Conlin
PhD, OTR/L, BCP, CPT
Dr. McHugh Conlin is the Director of Research at Healthy 360, Inc., a non-profit organization in the Sioux City, Iowa, area. She has advanced training in many practice areas, including postural control and pelvic floor function. Dr. McHugh Conlin has 25 years of practice experience and has been a clinical educator and academic faculty member for many years. She received her master’s in occupational therapy from the University of South Dakota and her PhD from Texas Woman’s University. She is the previous Chair of AOTA’s Children & Youth SIS, Treasurer of the Iowa Occupational Therapy Association, volunteers for AOTF, and serves these organizations in several capacities. Dr. McHugh Conlin is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Her current practice and research focuses on postnatal women and their infants. She has several national and international publications and presentations.
