Relateable to a lot of woman who go through child birth. After having a child, it definately makes me more intrigued especially when i am planning for a second child to help prepare my body/mind, as well as to prepare for how I can help myself postnatal. I will also utilize this information to help my friends and potential clients.

Have been interested in how OT could help perinatal and postpartum women ever since having my own child, and I wish I had had this knowledge years ago. This information could save lives, and I'm surprised even the basic information is not more widely known. Love the empowering nature of the "treatment" ideas and journaling.

I believe that pelvic health for women is essential, however, at the beginning of the presentation the lecturer stated that others can become pregnant, not just women. As a woman I found it very insulting to be referred to as 'birth person'. Sorry, but ONLY WOMEN are able to get pregnant. Please keep politics out of these presentations, I find that it took away from the whole purpose of this course.

Another win!Love this course. I’ve saw 2 PF therapists (PTs).Never once did they mention nervous system; I had to come to my own conclusion & get into therapy to process. Then pain&PF issues went away. She mentions reparenting herself to be a better self & mom. Thank you for sharing.THIS is key to being a good parent, as kids are meant to stir up the worst in us, to heal it, & bring out the best. This is a Gift of having children; you can heal generational trauma,as she mentions. Embrace it.

However, this might be the first one that I actually might talk to my friends and share the link to recommend it with excitement. Very well done and extremely interesting and relevant to my own issues and for my co-workers and peers in the field. Keep up the great work.

Great addressing subconscious & childhood trauma, as well as present living, rather than past or future orientation. I am glad to see that OT is shifting into more "alternative" healthcare, which are no longer alternative, but other models rather than just the medical model, which is failing the population. However, provide progesterone, not estrogen due to its and adrenaline dominance, especially PP and premenopause. See work of Ray Peat, Dr. Platt, Carol Peterson, Kitty Martone, etc.
