In order to engage, attend, and meet the expectations or demands of any situation, an individual needs to be regulated. This course will explore different aspects of regulation and dysregulation. It will examine how occupational therapists can use their understanding of sensory processing and therapeutic use of self to support optimum levels of arousal and alertness during their therapy sessions.
