OTD, OTR/L, CHT, STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor for Mat and Reformer
Tina Dimopoulos, OTR/L, OTD, CHT received a Bachelor's (2015), Master's (2016), and Doctorate (2017) degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC). Dimopoulos completed a one-year OTD clinical residency at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles County in outpatient neuro-rehab, where she completed her Neuro-IFRAH certification for adults with hemiplegia from brain injury or stroke. In 2019, Dimopoulos pursued hand therapy at Mount Sinai Hospital, becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2021. Through her own injury, Dimopoulos was exposed to Pilates and the benefits of low-impact postural exercise. Dimopoulos pursued her certification in STOTT PILATES® Rehab for both mat and reformer, a highly regarded branch of Pilates specific to rehabilitation and healthcare professionals. Presently, Dimopoulos serves as an adjunct professor, per diem hand therapist, and operates her private practice, “Pulse OT,” where she combines her background as an occupational therapist, CHT, and Pilates instructor.
