I was a counselor in a board and lodging home for people with MI disorders for 9 years. I found her presentation to be excellent and kind. I loved her presentation, her very kind use of words, and her knowledge. I can see her being very soothing to her clients and being able to form trust, which I find very important to this population. I have 2 grandchildren on the neurodivergent spectrum reaching adolescent stages.

This was a great course for helping the OT to sort out mental health behaviors from ASD.It is sad how ASD can cause a higher risk for mental health problems due to societal unacceptance and cruelty. I am grateful that she is speaking out on this topic.

The presenter did an excellent job explaining the differences clearly, had great research to back up her claims, and had an exceptional use of case studies to help her material feel approachable and useful in the clinical setting. This was an amazing course and the presenter seems so kind and knowledgeable. As a neurodivergent clinician, if I or any of my families need to be treated, I can only hope it is someone who is this compassionate. Thank you for the course!

The presenter provided a lot of good basic information about ASD and commonly co-occurring mental health disorders, and differing symptoms. She also provided a good list of resources. I would have liked more information about OT mental health interventions to support individuals with ASD. The presenter's tone of voice and presentation style also could have been more engaging, and additional visual content on the slides would have been nice, rather than mostly summaries of the verbal content.
