I liked how she explained each stage in the process and what you would observe.. I liked the video where the parents also participated in helping their child work through problem solving and the idea of letting him fail, but then at the end helping him towards the solution. I liked how she broke it down into step by step process to work on supporting problem solving.

We are trained in getting things right, but I love how here presentation allow us to see the benefit of letting the child figure it out and coach the process without being in control....allowing the child to be more the driver. Her handouts were very helpful. The course made me more interested in learning more about the topic as I prepare to provide telemedicine sessions.

The presenter was very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. I learned very valuable information not just as an OTR/L, but as a parent, friend, etc. in how people communicate and their ability to solve problems. We cannot ever assume everyone has successfully developed and moved through each FEDC stage.

Lynn did a fabulous job providing examples to support bullets for each slide and important concepts. Furthermore, the use of videos was a great way to provide real life examples of the skills being discussed and to see the effect of the skills on the therapeutic process.
