Zara brilliantly bridges the neuro piece of anxiety with the practical applications to help with self regulation using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and Somatic regulation. Very practical. This approach is beautifully functional OT at its finest! Immensely helpful in treating and helping clients /patients regulate their overstimulated amygdala and caring for ourselves as practitioners. Great for chronic pain patients who need help realizing that pain is not necessarily a threat.
