This course intends to provide therapy practitioners with evidence-based strategies related to the prevention and management of De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis, a repetitive stress condition of the distal wrist/thumb commonly known as “Mommy’s Thumb”. The course will emphasize understanding key risk factors during the prenatal and postpartum periods and implementing preventative interventions to reduce the likelihood of onset or exacerbation of the condition.
