Topics discussed include progress monitoring, goal writing, and differences between medical and educational therapy settings.

Most manual wheelchairs are designed for self-propulsion and fall into categories. This course will systematically explore each category with clinical indicators, as well as optimal frame configuration to increase propulsion efficiency and reduce the risk of repetitive stress injury.

This course will cover the topic of assessment in hand therapy. Included in the course are a review of goniometry within the hand and thumb, edema measurement, and functional assessment tools. This is Part 2 of a 2-part course.
